our experience

An Award Winning Team

Virtual Celluloid is a digital film production & post-production company founded by filmmaker Anthony Kalmeta in 2019. Our current slate of award-winning short narrative films explore themes of memory and cognition and have been screened internationally. We have won numerous awards at festivals for each film we've produced and explored various avenues of distribution, including Amazon Prime and broadcast television. The Virtual Celluloid Crew is comprised of incredibly talented artists including director of photography Isaiah Walk, producers Michelle Fredericks & Duncan Smythe, music composer Caleb Allen Parker, colorist Annie Liu, assistant director Dylan Quintero (founder of Moments in Between Productions), sound mixer Tom Boykin, and sound recorder Julian Babad.
